The Mercy of Thin Air - Ronlyn Domingue Blechh. This book was really quite awful all around. I thought the premise was cute and figured it would be a nice summer quick read. I could barely keep my eyes focused on the page and took almost 4 days to read what should have been a 24-48 hour turn around.

The writing was not bad, but the fact that Amy was Twolly's grand-neice was too convenient. I spent the first 2/3rds of the book aggravated that the couple that buys the bookcase turns out to be linked to Razi. Certainly it made sense that she would be haunting Simon and even that she might follow the cute couple who bought the bookcase, but it was just too over the top that they would lead her to more info about Twolly.

AND THEN it turns out that Amy is Andrew's grand-daughter. WHAT? Really? How is this necessary at all? How is this anything other than just convenience spinning out.

Ugh. Not worth the time and effort, nothing really redeeming in the book.
